Meet Ray Ako - Owner & Founder of RCL Builders Liverpool  

Hello, I’m Ray, the owner of RCL Builders Liverpool and Loft Extension Specialists.

With over 35 years of experience in the building trade, I’ve had the privilege of delivering a wide range of projects across the city and region, from loft conversions and residential renovations to commercial developments and HMO projects

Liverpool has always been home. I was born and raised here, and after all these years, there’s still nowhere else I’d rather live or work. As local builders, we take great pride in helping homeowners across Liverpool transform and improve their properties with quality workmanship and honest advice.

One thing I’ve learned over the years is that every project is personal. Whether it’s creating more space with a loft conversion, extending a family home, or tackling a full renovation, I treat every job as if it were my own property.

A little fun fact about me: when I was younger, I dreamed of becoming a pilot. Unfortunately, there was just one problem—I was terrified of heights!
